Shear Reinforcement Rails

A recent development within Brooks Forgings has been the introduction of Shear Reinforcement Rails which are arranged around central columns on new construction projects involving high rise commercial buildings e.g. hospitals, multi-storey car parks, etc.

The system comprises of a number of high strength double headed forged rebar studs (500/MM2) which are welded at equal-spaced distances into connecting steel strips at one end.

Lengths of up to 2m can be accommodated for use in conjunction with concrete slabbing.
