As with all modern manufacturing companies our CAD Design facility is an important department, without whom we would struggle to interchange and communicate ideas and information on products and specifications. This benefits you insofar that we can continuously refine designs to fulfil your exact
requirements.
With the advent of CAD Design, the natural progression is to link this into integrated manufacturing solutions. At Brooks Forgings we are committed to the implementation of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM Design) into our drop forging and machining processes.
FARO Gage
The FARO Gage is a portable CMM that increases measurement productivity and flexibility and enhances accuracy in any production environment.
End the reliance on expensive and hard-to-use fixed CMMs, improve measurement consistency, generate automatic reports including SPC analysis and GD&T, and reduce inspection times with the FARO Gage.
Stress Analysis
At Brooks Forgings we have software that can perform Stress
Analysis tests from rendered 3D models, using both static and assembled components.
This enables us to evaluate product structure and design suitability and make alterations to suit various requirements. We can also input various material properties making the system fully customisable.
